Tyramine-O-sulfate is a sulfate derivative of tyramine. Tyramine is formed from the decarboyxlation of tyrosine. Tyramine O-sulfate is found in the urine of patients following an oral load of tyramine with unipolar and bipolar major depressive episode. (PMID: 8432957, 2175186).
